Maegan Scott (she/her) is a visionary leader in the work of organizational equity and personal transformation. She is the founder and CEO of Wayfinding Partners, a consulting firm designed to advance organizational and individual journeys in racial equity, liberation, and wellbeing.
Maegan holds over 20 years of experience in organization development and nonprofit leadership as a teacher, grantmaker, coach, consultant, trainer, and healer.
Over the course of her career, Maegan’s research and practice has placed her on the leading edge of DEI conversations. A thought leader and change management facilitator, Maegan has presented at over a dozen national conferences, advancing DEI in the fields of grantmaking, organizational effectiveness, and philanthropic leadership. She has consulted with chief executive leaders nationally and in Canada, France, China, and Costa Rica. Her volunteer service has included boards of directors and advisory committees for nearly a dozen nonprofit organizations. Maegan has also served as guest faculty for Pepperdine University’s MSOD program. Across all of her educational, nonprofit, consulting, and other leadership roles, Maegan’s approach is deeply rooted in her personal, cultural, and professional lineages, and weaves together disciplines of organization development, critical race theory, intuitive energy healing, and mindful practice.
Under Maegan’s leadership, Wayfinding Partners continues to pursue new organizational structures and ways of being, in alignment with our “experiment in workplace liberation.” Since its founding, Wayfinding has partnered with over 40 nonprofit, philanthropic, public and private sector organizations.
Maegan holds a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from American University, an executive certificate in nonprofit management from Georgetown University, and a Master of Science degree in Organization Development from the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University. She is a Reiki practitioner who cultivates spaces where energetic, emotional, and physical selves are seen, heard, and respected. Some of her personal wellbeing practices include traveling whenever she can, caring for her plants, losing herself in National Geographic: History magazines, and watching classic movies with her very pampered cats.

Héctor Ramírez (he/him) is a storyteller and consultant with over a decade of experience working at the intersections of literature, education, and equitable programming. As a coach, mentor, trainer, facilitator, and Senior Consultant, he leverages his literary background to shine a light on the dominant cultural narratives that invisibly shape our personal experiences and collective imaginaries. His goal is to partner with people and organizations who are interested in envisioning freer worlds, and dreaming up more exciting and restorative ways of relating.
Prior to joining Wayfinding Partners, Héctor worked in the nonprofit sector—as a fund development consultant, grant writer, and board member—-and in the field of educational equity. As the Assistant Director of the CU Boulder Upward Bound Program, Héctor helped to develop a decolonial and pro-Indigenous pedagogy, advocate for the needs of Indigenous students in their transition to college, and advance equity and inclusion throughout the University of Colorado system.Héctor is a first-generation college graduate, receiving his BA in Literary Arts from Brown University in 2012, and his MFA in Fiction from CU Boulder in 2018. He has edited two anthologies of poetry (Bettering American Poetry, 2015 and Bettering American Poetry, Volume II, 2018), and his own poetry, prose, and criticism has appeared in Muzzle Magazine, Apogee, LIT, the American Book Review, and elsewhere. He enjoys spending time with family and friends (especially if that means playing card games and dominoes), making the right playlist for a particular vibe, and forming strong opinions about añejo tequila.

Ciara Myers (she/her) has over a decade of experience as a communications professional in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors. Calling on her prior experience in community program development and delivery, she is an in-house consultant and facilitator at Wayfinding Partners.
In addition to her work at Wayfinding Partners, Ciara has led strategic communications efforts at the Meyer Foundation in Washington, DC since 2016. Her prior experience includes event organization, marketing, and volunteer program management roles at Philanthropy DMV (formerly Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers), a Greater Washington philanthropic-serving organization and The Fishing School, a nonprofit serving students and schools across DC and surrounding communities.
In her spare time, Ciara’s wellbeing practices include baking, connecting with nature, reading, traveling, and experimenting with new wellness techniques. Her interest in communications is deeply connected with a personal commitment to racial justice, striving to create content and amplify stories that are culturally responsive and that foster inclusivity and a more just world.

Jasmine Khanani (she/her) is the owner and founder of Raising Conscious Intention Ltd., and provides in-house consulting on the strategy and Wellbeing Programs at Wayfinding Partners.
In her almost-three decades of corporate and volunteer work, she built and honed her proficiency in strategic planning, change design, innovation and leadership, supporting and creating growth in five industries, including high-tech, finance, and manufacturing, across North America and Europe.
Jasmine also trained and practices as an integrative health and transformational coach, and as a teacher and facilitator in yoga, mindfulness and mindful meditation — expanding to hundreds the awareness and benefits of mainly-Eastern practices, aimed at returning inner peace, presence and overall wellness.
Blending this unique background, she now consults, coaches and facilitates organizational strategic planning and advancement, as well as individual transformation and self-actualization, across the equity and wellness arenas and their intersection.
Jasmine has been recognized as a change-maker and affectionately termed ‘pioneer’ and ‘guru’ in organizational well-being programming, and referred to in her equity work as an ‘intention and intuition coach’ and ‘doula for justice’.
She holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and her M.B.A. from the University of Waterloo and Queen’s University, respectively, in Canada.
In her spare time, you can find her ballroom or salsa dancing, surfing, forest bathing, eating banana pancakes at her favorite beach cantina or meditating to begin and end her day.

Melanie Crable (she/her) is Chief-of-Staff to Wayfinding's CEO with a decade of expertise in operational strategy and compliance, project management, and supporting and implementing CEO’s organizational goals and vision.
Her background includes hospitality and tourism management, executive administrative support, calendar management, and event and meeting management. She believes deeply in supporting staff through the lenses of empathy and equity. Melanie holds a BS in Recreation and Tourism Management from San Diego State University and serves on the DEI committee at Dallas' Temple Emanu-El where she is an active member.
Melanie supports her wellbeing with Pilates, visiting Dallas’ breweries, binging all Bravo TV shows, Zoom Shabbat with her family on Friday nights, and spending time with her husband chasing their two sons around the backyard.

After a two-decade career in local and national nonprofits, Areesah Mobley (she/her) joined Wayfinding Partners to continue to serve the nonprofit and philanthropic communities. A Senior Consultant focusing on integrating progressive DEI skills within leadership, organizational development, and fundraising methods, she leverages her experiences from working in grassroots organizations to find attainable answers to complex social and intraorganizational obstacles.
Areesah is a graduate of Communications at George Mason University. In previous roles, she served in fundraising and leadership roles at 826 National, 826DC, Martha’s Table, Kid Power, and the Marijuana Policy Project. Currently, she spends her professional time cultivating and nurturing relationships with philanthropic organizations, and working with nonprofit clients to find assets-based solutions to strategic planning, Board development, change management, and leadership coaching.

Cynthia L. Gamarra (she/her) is a bilingual licensed clinical mental health therapist, certified E-RYT 500, YACEP yoga and meditation educator, and a professional coach.
With an extensive background in the nonprofit sector, Cynthia has held key roles as a case-management program manager and crisis intervention manager, embodying her commitment to supporting diverse communities. She specializes in working with refugee and migrant youth & families as well as unaccompanied minors from Latin America. During her time in the field, Cynthia developed and implemented various accessible mindfulness, yoga, and stress-management programs in public schools & nonprofits geared for diverse communities in Spanish and English.
Cynthia was previously represented by national brands such as Fitbit and Outdoor Voices. Her expertise has been featured on Good Morning Washington and NBC News 4 Washington, The Washingtonian and Byrdie Beauty.
Additionally, she has led global retreats to destinations such as Egypt, Peru, Morocco, and Costa Rica. Cynthia continues to foster holistic wellness experiences, embodying her passion for creating inclusive spaces for personal growth and transformation.

Dr. Stacy L. Scott (he/him) is President and Founder of the Center for Understanding Equity and Global Sustainable, Inc. He specializes in educational consulting, leadership development, executive coaching, strategic planning and DEI training. Dr. Scott has been a keynote presenter, facilitator, and trainer for many conferences and organizations over the past 25 years. He currently teaches at Boston University as a Senior Lecturer, Educational Leadership and Policy Studies; faculty member, Bahrain Teachers’ College partnership; and, faculty member, Equity & Democracy Program.
Prior to his faculty and leadership roles at Boston University, Dr. Scott served for nearly a decade in Superintendent and Associate Superintendent roles across Massachusetts school districts in Framingham and Dracut, and Montgomery County in the DC area, leading student populations of 156,000 and over 23,300 employees. As an organizational consultant, Dr. Scott has partnered with Fortune 500 corporations (BayBanks, Nynex, Blue Cross Blue Shield) and has developed a wide variety of tools and resources for cultural analysis, leadership development, and strategic planning. Previously, he served on the faculty of The Harvard Medical School as a Lecturer in Psychology and a consultant in Child Psychiatry. From 1987 to 1994, Dr. Scott had a private practice in Psychology in Lexington, MA. He has also worked at a variety of clinical sites, including Massachusetts General Hospital, Judge Baker Children’s Center, Worcester Youth Guidance Center, and The Roxbury Comprehensive Community Health Center, where he served as Pediatric Clinical Coordinator.
A proud Bostonian, lifelong educator, and organizational effectiveness leader for four decades, Dr. Scott advances DEI initiatives to impact workforce development, leadership, and strategic outcomes. Dr. Scott holds an Ed.M. and an Ed.D. from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education in Counseling and Consulting Psychology. He received a B.A. in International Government with an emphasis in Spanish language and culture from Harvard College. Dr. Scott was appointed by Governor William Weld to serve on the Massachusetts State Board of Educators. He is a licensed clinical psychologist in Massachusetts.

Virgil Whitehurst (he/him), an Associate Consultant for Wayfinding Partners, specializes in workshop designing and holding space for clients. He has been with the team since graduating from The University of Maryland - College Park in 2020. As the longest serving staff member, Virgil began as a Wayfinding fellow, grew into his role as program coordinator, and now has a more expanded role as Associate Consultant.
Virgil has been instrumental in building the workshops and cohort programs at Wayfinding Partners, supporting the design and facilitation of Let’s Talk About Race, Designing for Inclusion and Rest as Resistance.
Virgil’s self care practices include meditation, barefoot walking, listening to music, running and sitting in nature. In his free time you can find him watching Chelsea FC and spending time with friends and family.
