Racial equity and liberation is the place we are journeying to
Our philosophy is that by undoing the systems, structures and mindsets that perpetuate inequities, we will find a route to a world we have yet to see but believe is there.
Our Mission
We guide people, organizations, and communities on a journey to reckon with history, heal in the present, and design a just, equitable, and joy-filled future.
Our Vision
We envision a society filled with mindful, integrated, purpose-driven humans working to achieve justice.
Our Values
Our values define the spirit, energy, and guiding principles behind how we do our work. We know that we won’t reach our end-state - justice for all, particularly people of color - without living out these values in our day-to-day lives.
Empathy and Connection
We bring our full authentic selves to every interaction, maintaining open lines of communication, and meeting our clients where they are without judgment. We leverage our differences while always finding points of resonance with one another.
Justice in Action
We actively create spaces where everyone - ourselves and all of our partners and clients - can imagine and create a more equitable world. We are hopeful, growthful, imaginative, and collaborative in our journey toward radical liberation.
Fractal Nature of Existence and Change
Nature is full of patterns, and those patterns are composed of micro patterns that mirror the larger structure. These are called fractals. We believe human behavior, relationships, and structures are similarly fractal, and that if we change the way we interact with each other, we can change broader systems. We can shift, break, and transform oppressive cultural patterns into something different—something that works for everyone.
Community and Self Care
We bring a lens of healing to every engagement. We foster spaces that are introspective, reflective, and still so that we may listen to and learn from our own inner wisdom. We believe self-care—connecting and healing the body, mind, and spirit—is essential for achieving justice.
Emergence and Magic
While we plan and think strategically, we believe presence with one another and ourselves is even more powerful; it allows us to remain attentive to the changing realities of every moment. We embrace the possibilities of every engagement, allowing for new ways of thinking, being, and doing to emerge. We trust our intuition as the ultimate source of knowledge, knowing that it will lead us to the most effective outcomes.
